Default 93 octane

Is there anywhere in the tumwater, lacey, olympia area that sells higher than 92 octane? i've been searching, but without any luck...

Only places I know of are a station in Auburn and the pumps at Pacific Raceways. They sell 100 unleaded.

Some of the local shops can order in the gas but that depends on price and availability. If you are looking at a couple gallons here or there probably not but if you are going to use it on a regular basis buy a hand pump and a 55 gallon drum of what you want.

there is a chevron in lakewood that sold 93 instead of 92. not sure if they still do.

Xylene is actually better than toluene. Cheaper and higher octane rating (both MON and RON). It is also a pure hydrocarbon (like toluene) so it is safe for the emissions. Just don't add too much of either, as they are less volatile and may make cold starts more difficult with too much.
