I've always wondered how fuel additives distribute themselves chemically when they are added to pump gas? It seems like you would need to stir them together after adding the additive to get a stable predictable octane level. Is it an even mixture? or does the car see overall boosted octane levels with occasional spikes in octane? does that make sense? lol

You're supposed to put them in the tank right before filling up, so that they get mixed in by the gas coming in. Not sure if it's evenly distributed, but I would guess that it's pretty close.
