Anyone know this guy?
I bought some '03 OEM rims from a Josh Johnson in Washington state recently, who had them for sale originally on Ebay. Before I paid him, I asked if there was any damage I should be aware of (nicks, curbs, ect.) since the pictures weren't that clear. He said no and that the rims were very clean with no curbs. After I paid him, he stopped replying to my email. I did eventually get them and one of the rims has a few scratches and a good size curb dent on the lip and the other has a really noticable scrape on the face of one of the spokes. If I would have known any of this I would have not purchased them.
I doubt if he's a S2ki member, but if someone knows of him regardless, could you please punch him in the back of the head for me?
Thanks!

Yup, that's him, same name on the bank account too! I thought he might be a Russian-Transexual-Scitzophrenic.
Seems friendly and willing to talk about anything until he gets your money and then he dissappears. All I wanted was some shipping info also and he never got back to me; even when I threatened to pull the money back out of his account. The blown motor would make sense, seeing the condition of the rims, he probably beat this car pretty bad......dumb punk!
Yeah, he's got big problems alright, the same problems most cons and liars have.
Like I said, back of the head please!

Well, I didn't pay a lot for 'em and I figure instead of going through the hassel of sending them back, and dealing with getting reimbursed for shipping, I'll keep them and use the better of the total 4 rear rims for summer tires and the other 2 for winter. I only needed one rim originally anyway because I slid on a wet ramp and messed one up pretty good. He wanted to sell both so I figured what the heck it's good to have spares. Even the scraped rim he sent me is better than the one I need to replace. I just don't like being deceived.
Live and learn, I won't buy again unless it's from an S2ki member.

Did you only buy the two rears?
If you have the fronts too there was somebody here (MWY23 I think) that was looking to buy one front only ...... maybe you can recoup something and lessen your pain (not the pain to the back of dudes head of course
).
