Default AP2 Taillight conversion

Has anyone tried this? I have the lights and Hard Top Guy's conversion kit is on it's way. Any suggestions on tools or air saws?

Thanks guys.

I would just suggest any air saw that is easily maneuverable, since cutting the outer edges is a PITA if you don't have a good saw. All I had when I did my conversion was a normal reciprocating saw and I cut what little I could, and ground the rest off with a dremel, which took a lot longer than I expected.

I did them with just a dremel and quite a few dremel disks. Really easy. You didnt even need to order anything. Just do a search on here and it has a DIY write up. If not, just take the "gasket" from the new taillights and place em on the car and trace it out like a stencil and there you go, you'll see where you need to cut. Anyway, good luck.

Cut off wheel and a grinder or air saw with a fine tooth blade. A sawzall would probably even work.
