Hi there,

I'll be spending June 11 to Mid August around the Seattle/Tacoma area and, in all my planning, have yet to buy a plane ticket

Would it be worth it to have my S2000 or are there not a whole lot of driving opportunities in that area?

So far here's my pro/con list

Pros
Can go out on days off
Get to mellow out on the weekends
People will think I'm the coolest thing ever
Get to have my slashed soft-top fixed
Get to finish work on my stereo

Cons
Add about 3000 miles to the odo
...
It appears that's about it

Any thoughts?

Hey a fellow Bay Areaian-nin-nin (how ever you say it). I actually moved up from northern cali at the begining of this year. Cost is $550 shipped... though I wouldn't recommend an open top carrier as I did. Cleaning all the dirt and grease off the car after it arrived was a pain! Anyways, bring it up! You will have the best of Seattle weather during that time... or so I'm told. I miss the bay area weather hmmm... if you bring it up in time you can also join the PacNW Crazy Drive III thingy.

Dude, what part of the bay area do you live in to have your top slashed?

Well, I drove to California twice last year for track days, so I think you can guess my answer!

This time of year the Seattle area is ideal convertible country.

AND you can take it on the Crazy Drive on June 21st with the rest of the gang!

Maybe you'll be in time to track it at Spokane with Tedster and his motley crew this weekend.
