If I ever get a dog I am definitely going to consult how to dog train from him! I think training is a huge committment and you will get a well trained dog if you put huge amounts of time into it.
Rick also has a Rottweiler that is getting up there in age, but is still one of the most gorgeous Rotties I have ever seen and is one of the most well trained.
This Rottie never saw police service but was trained in tracking and obedience. Rick had me walk around the circumference of a school campus once, and the Rottie tracked my scent a half hour later without straying once! It was amazing!
