Default FI Experience

I just arranged the purchase of this toy from YellowStreak. Any experienced FI'ers in the area have any tips, advice, tricks or other items I might think of getting for it?

Lots of spare parts...

Seriously, Ray will probably pipe up with suggestions for you.

I had a feeling you were gonna get that Comptech.

Do you think you might tackle the install yourself or have someone do it?

I know Ray will have something to say about it. I'm probably going to have to dump the VAFC-II I just bought and get a management setup...

I'll do the install myself, I don't trust anyone else with their hands in the engine bay.

Some type of tunning will come in handy. YS threw in some injectors w/ that kit right?? You might want to think about the e-manage or aem ems if you have a shop that can tune it for you. I am sure ray will be of good assistance to you

And definatly think about getting a clutch (you might want to it before you put the blower on, it is an easier install then)

Make sure you get some colder plugs (if he doesn't include them), and gap them down to SC specs (do a search, I cant remember what they are...)

Congrats

Yes, he threw in the injectors and colder plugs along with a spare pulley and belt. The only thing he didn't have was the fuel pump but I already ordered that from Comptech.

Any recommendations on clutches?

I may take you up on that offer, I'll be throwing on a new header and exhaust at the same time.
