Sorry for the hijak!
That's limited by my boldness, not my exit speed from 9. Probably around 120ish? (Someday I need to put a camera in the car so I can read what the speedo says, since I never look at it.) I stop accelerating well before I start braking.

135 is about the max I've seen, but factor in spedo inacuracies and a slightly fuzzy memory.

edit: er, guess you meant Mike Garrison.

Each track will have a different optimum gear ratio for fastest lap times. I am using a 4.44 for a daily driver/auto-x car and would absolutely recomend it. Much easier to drive in stop and go traffic, and definitely pulls harder. I'll be performing some acceleration test runs when I get back from Asia so I'll post when available.

Check out the gear discussion in the s2000 talk. At least that is where I remember it. Maybe it will help. I plan on 4.57 towards the end of the year.

I would definitely consider 4.44s. I don't know why people are so quick to think oh the higher I go, the faster I'll go!

Straightline monkies man... it also changes the entire feel of the car. don't these guys know honda engineers considered all these ratios?

i like taking my stock gear leisurely time heading up to 9K.
