Just because they're hand built doesn't mean they're good. They would have to be dyno tested against other header on the same car to see if its any good. U have to know ur shit to make a good header Unless you copy stock.

There is a dyno sheet on their site. Their header vs stock.

They are both extremely talented guys. Maybe you should read up on them before you add your 2 cents.

That prototype makes 9-10whp bolt on. We have a new updated version that should make even more and get rid of that loss around 6000rpm. Should see another 3-4whp gain everywhere as well.

PS, I got the new parts to build another header, I just need to borrow your car again!

Basic rule in header desien for 4 bangers. The stock header is a tri y design meaning it has 4 primary runners that merg into 2 larger that merge again into one collector, this design typically makes the best overal trq band across the board. The other design is like the Comptech header for forced induction which is a 4 into 1 type, this means all 4 primaries merge into the collector, its basic princable is to gain peak hp but at the sacrifice of a narrower trq curve, but for FI especially it is an ideal choice, but it has been used in many N/A aplications as well. Primary and collector sizes can vary slightly between brands and give you a slightly different effect, but perform best when the head ports are mated to the proper same primary size...so remember that, do your resurch.

But with all exhaust no matter which way you want to go, the most effective way to make the most gains in a particular power band is to be consistant through the entire exhaust system from the header to the tail, know what power band your building for and run the proper sizes for your engine displacemnt and power goals, N/A or FI. Generally If your going to run a 4 into 1 header it doesnt make sense to run factory size dual exhuast etc. But there is many factors at play which would deturmine which header to run. In a nutshell, the factory header is quite good and would be the last thing I would mess with.

And another thing, unless the other suporting mods are listed for you, dont trust what you read about making a particual hp increase simply by changing out the header. Remember its the whole exhaust system and tune and where in the power band the gains are, sometimes you lose some to gain some somewhere else.

I guess the main question would be is do you have thier header installed and have the dyno sheets to prove gains?

The prototype was built off my car. Once it's done at powder coat, yes it will be on my car.

Here is the link to the first prototype.

Considering Speedware's reputation of utter incompetance while servicing members of this board, don't hold your breath. There are several members here I can put you in contact with that would be willing to discuss their extremely negative experiences with these jokers. There are other members that are too embarassed to discuss how much money those shieshters bilked them for.

To this day, they are the only local business that we have a blanket recommendation that any member of this board avoid. The ONLY ONE. That is how bad these guys and anyone affiliated with them are viewed.

Advanced Street Performance has nothing to do with Speedware.
