Leave him alone Ray, he wants more HP he didnt mention anything about "peak" hp

Its cheeper and easier to make more hp then trq out of a 4 banger anyway. My therory is to support and inhance the area of the cars natural charistics and you will gain more overal performance from it. I say go for it. He will probably have more "fun" from a s2000 that is outfitted and tuned to encoperate a 4 into1 header with a cat delet and 70mm single all the way back. Its going to give you the biggest power spike anywhere in the rpm range for your money. We do have a close gear ratio 6 speed for a reason yes? lol

I know my FI set up would gain another 10% having that set up, but Im not in it just for the power. I like the sound of my car with factory size exhuast and like having a little more usable/low midrange power to compliment the already top heavy powerband of the SC, its a good mix with comprimizing some at the top. But when your N/A its all comprimizes, so I say boost the strong points of the factory power curve

Admittedly you are in a bit of pickle. What has happened in the past (on multiple occasions to multiple board members) has definitely soured the reputation of your employer for members of this board. I have a responsibility to the membership to ensure that doesn't happen again.

How do you propose to improve Speedware's reputation with this group?
