A friend of mine runs the shop at Aldercrest. Call and ask for Shaun and tell him Zach sent you. He'll take good care of you!

^^ Aldercrest tore the car down today:

Hmm, this frame rail is supposed to be perpendicular to the top of the core support:

Tweaked "apron" as the guy called it:

Uncomfortable speed sensor:

Interior:

Initial thoughts are that it is indeed totalled. The estimator is going to give the verdict to my insurance company after he does his final calculations. I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

As a side note, even though I might not be getting any work done w/Aldercrest, I must say that they were really easy to deal with and very prompt

Push your insurance good sir! After two weeks of just letting my car sit around while waiting for a call I went straight into my agent's office and raised hell! He had the claims rep call me with a scheduled drop off for the same day to a shop that took care of it and got me into a rental within minutes of my arrival at the shop. Phone calls won't make nearly as much pressure as you sitting right across your agent's desk. LOL. Side note, take your exhaust tips off if it's totalled. I might know a guy who knows a guy who'd love to buy it off of ya!

x2

as an agent myself, I will say that we can push on the adjusters, but we are a lot of the time left out of the loop in that claims/adjusters deal with the customers and not us. Let me know whats up with some of those goodies. I also have my stock springs/struts if you need something to swap over before you give the car away

Whew!! Got the coilovers and the wheels off and swapped with stock parts with only mild drama. It's amazing how resourceful 4 guys can be without a spring compressor; stupid stock springs are such a PITA to put back on

BIG THANKS to the emergency pit crew: UPSfella, Twanny425, and Niccuhles for the help!!! I would still be out there if it wasn't for you guys

[QUOTE=ALFYonso,Aug 19 2010, 07:21 PM] To add to it, my thumb is still sore and my back is really irritating me.

I just thought I call out that Alfonso's car is still getting mileage. If you go http://www.pacificgp.com his car shows up in the slideshow for "Car Lapping". Pretty cool Alfy.

Followed by an uber-tite picture of a scooter race. I haven't lolled that hard in a while. Seeing guys in full leathers getting a knee down on Vespas is awesome.
