just figured id finally make a profile. heres my story, i'm in the navy and me and my S just got transferred here from hawaii (temporarily). i should be getting transferred to san diego soon enough, but id like to take my time up here and attend some events and take advantage of this awesome community. what would be a good icebreaking event?

 

We meet EVERY Tuesday night in Bellevue-Redmond area. It is the longest continuous running event on S2ki.com. This weekly event has been going on for nearly 10 years. It's a good opportunity to meet and greet the other owners in the area.

^^ welcome to the PNW! I'm sure the climate is a lot different from HI, but hopefully it's not too bad for you. Unfortunately a lot of car-related stuff is wrapping up as the weather turns, but as Jerry mentioned, a fair amount of folks gather every Tuesday at Azteca to BS w/each other. Where-abouts are you staying?

 

It's extremely different, unless he's from Hilo or Kauai where it rains a fair amount. LOL it's the cold that gets me.

@ ALFYonzo I'm staying in silverdale, on a sub in Bremerton, although I'm on seattle side of the water a lot, as there is always more goin on.

Still trying to get used to seasons again, being from southern California to Hawaii, I've gotten pretty spoiled on nice weather. I'll try to make it out for the meeting on the 16th, see you all there!
