Default minor windscreen repair in Bellevue area

so it had to happen with all my winter driving enthusiasm...

the beloved new S2k has picked up 2 very minor nicks in the windscreen. i am not even worried about these things spreading, each one is seriously no more than a millimeter across.

so a couple of quick questions

given these are tiny should i even get them filled?

if yes then where in the Bellevue area and how much do you think it will be?

cheers

A

Sadly those first two are just the beginning.

If they are tiny - I wouldn't worry about it.

Are we talking about the glass windshield or the plastic windscreen that sits between the driver and passenger?

the front windscreen (shield) - the glass thing :-)

thankfully the stones did not pierce it, travel through my cranium and embed themselves in the flimsy plastic hair-do protector. although when one of them hit i flinched it hit so frickin loud.

judging by the comments it sounds like this car is susceptible to windshield chips - guess it is a factor of the lowness and relatively upright angle of the shield. i here the new BMW flavored Minis are terrible on that front.

that aside my new S2000 is an utter joy - my only regret is not doing it much sooner.
