I am from the JDM planet. On that planet, we use common sense to know that a bigger pipe with less bends results in more gas flow. The HKS has narrow piping and has sharp bends, so it results in "no" gain.

Ben, I dont think Louie meant he'd beat an SC car. Gears are as close to stock looking as you can get. And keeping up with an SC car to 3rd or even being behind a little would scare the SC car because of how little he is pulling on a "stock" car.
What boost are you running? Stock 5.5 or 7 lbs?

Only if the smaller pipe with more bends was actually restricting anything.
