Default off topic - Civic help

Anyone know how to reset the SRS dash light on a 2001 Civic coupe? The dog ate a front seatbelt, and after I replaced it the light came on. I am assuming the belt triggered a SRS warning when the power was disconnected to the retractor.

Thanks for any help.

Negative. The light did all the proper blinky things, but it did not permanently turn off. Going to bring it my local mechanic. Hoping its not a fortune, but Im expecting the worst.

The new belt you got may have already deployed the auto-tensioner so the code won't clear until you get one that hasn't been deployed.

I hope the new belt hasnt sent the code. It's a brand new belt from Honda. I'll let you know the result of the visit to the shop.
