Europa in Bellevue did mine. $101 after taxes and they dialed it in perfectly to my specs. GL

Resurrecting this thread, too.

My Wheels: Prodrive GC07
17x7.5 + 48
17x8.5 + 54

My Tires: Toyo T1-R
225/45/17
255/40/17

My Suspension:
Buddy Club RS Coilovers

I'm lowered quite a bit. Not DUMPED or SLAMMED, but my fenders are close to my tires.
I'm not TOO concerned with tire wear, but I don't want it extremely excessive (redundant, eh?).
I understand better handling = more tire wear. With that said, I do want to run some strong camber and toe/caster settings.
My car is my only car, but I also use it for Auto-X and spirited driving. Thus, I will want aggressive settings, but still a compromise for some freeway driving.

I will probably be close to John's settings.

I am thinking:

Front:
-1.5 Degrees Camber
0''+ Toe In
0 Degrees Caster Angle (no idea what this means)

Rear:
-2 Degrees Camber
3.6mm Total Toe Out
0 Degrees Thrust Angle (no idea what this means)

Any suggestions? And does anybody know a good place in the south sound that doesn't scuff wheels? THanks!
Dude,
That's some crazy talk ............. haven't been keeping in tune with the latest fad alignments but the two things that look very wrong are your Caster and rear toe targets.
I'd be asking for max caster (but even left/right) up front, and 1/8" or so of Toe-IN for the rear.

BTW, did you buy those wheels off some Dentist dude ("Oriental") w/ a huge head?

HAHA, sorry I mixed up the toe direction. And no idea what caster is so I copied what I saw on the first page. Thanks Ray!! Does my camber look to fit what I want?? Is that 1/8'' toe in total, or per side?? I know what you mean by 0+ for the front, but is it possible to get a precise number, like, say, .005''? Or will the shop know what I mean when I say 0+? I'll give Europa a shot if my car feels safe enough to drive that far once she moves... A lot has changed since it was driven last, and I'm not sure if it'd be saft on the freeway that far? But, I'm guessing their site is www.europabellevue.com?

Nah, I bought them from Antonielli @ Prodrive? Great guy to work with if you ever need Prodrive parts.

So, how does this look?

-1.5 Camber

thrust is the amount of crabbing, if the rear toe is adjusted evenly L/R you'll be fine. 1/8" total toe is what I meant but 1/8 per side would be fine too. caster is the angle from vertical that the ball joints rotate on providing you steering wheel centering force and in the case of high offset wheels giving you the secret dynamic corner weight shifting as the neg camber increases on the outside tire (leaning into the turn direction).
If the guy can't comprehend 0+ for the total frt toe, just tell him 30 thou total toe-in (about 1/32") for the front, close enough.

Ray, you da man!

So caster makes sense. Wanting maximum caster to allow the most movement/pivoting angle in a sharp turn...
But no idea what crabbing is. That's okay, though.

You said about 1/2 degree less in front for camber, so does -1.5 front and -2 rear sound pretty safe/strong?

crabbing is when the rear tires run in a track offset from the front tires as opposed to directly following........ like when an airplane is coming in for a landing in a crosswind.
I'd go for a touch less neg camber personally but depending on how low the ride height is you might be stuck with whatever you can get in the rear. If so, just have them dial in half a degree less neg camber for the front once the rear is set. (e.g. rear can only get to -2.25 then set front at -1.75).

Thanks!

Anybody know a decent alignment shop in Tacoma? I checked the yellowpages... Called a few and they all said I should take it to a speed shop since I didn't have a Taurus looking for 0 camber.... Stupid b*tches. Arhhhh
