Ray you always crack me up.
Ya maybe we should bench race ex's. I should be given extra points for hookin up with girls in Texas where the first response I got from most of my GF's uncles were "I like you. You're the nicest chinese I've ever met
" or "what's filipino?" (pronounced as if it rhymed with jalapeno)
Resurrecting this thread, too.
My Wheels: Prodrive GC07
17x7.5 + 48
17x8.5 + 54
My Tires: Toyo T1-R
225/45/17
255/40/17
My Suspension:
Buddy Club RS Coilovers
I'm lowered quite a bit. Not DUMPED or SLAMMED, but my fenders are close to my tires.
I'm not TOO concerned with tire wear, but I don't want it extremely excessive (redundant, eh?).
I understand better handling = more tire wear. With that said, I do want to run some strong camber and toe/caster settings.
My car is my only car, but I also use it for Auto-X and spirited driving. Thus, I will want aggressive settings, but still a compromise for some freeway driving.
I will probably be close to John's settings.
I am thinking:
Front:
-1.5 Degrees Camber
0''+ Toe In
0 Degrees Caster Angle (no idea what this means)
Rear:
-2 Degrees Camber
3.6mm Total Toe Out
0 Degrees Thrust Angle (no idea what this means)
Any suggestions? And does anybody know a good place in the south sound that doesn't scuff wheels?
THanks!
