Default Slashed top

Someone slashed my top in a parking lot.
The slit is clean, about two inches long. - see photos. Appears to be pure
vandalism with no attempt to get inside or steal anything. Bastards!

Various threads suggest complete top replacement but surely this small slit
can be repaired??

Any suggestions for professionals in the Bellevue/Seattle area? DIY ideas?

Thanks,
Don.

Don,
I've patched my top on both sides where it's worn through using some fiber reinforced decking material (sorry Ben, not CF) and "Landau" top contact cement ........... I got all the stuff, if you want to come by we can do it in about 15 minutes.
However, you might want to consider giving the professionals a try if it's not to expensive (since they'll stand behind their work, hopefully, and I'd just laugh at you )

I had a cut just like yours last July. I went to Convertibles Only and they did a nice job while I waited. I don't remember how much it cost, but I'm thinking it was @ $60.

After 6 months and using the car regularly, the patch looks as good today as when I drove out of the shop. It is visible if you know where to look for it, but it blends in fairly well. I am at work right now, but if you want a picture of what the repair looks like, let me know and I'll take one for you. The patch is put on the inside, and from the outside all you see is a line.

Convertibles Only does not do work in Bellevue, so you'll have to go to the Seattle location.

I wish thats all that my top got. Some %$#@ slashed my top real good, just over afoot long right on the top of the passenger side. I don't think mine can even be repaired, I'll have to give that place a call and see.
