It's all good. I couldn't resist delivering that one.

His number one problem is that the rear bar is dragging on the half-shafts. Fixing that issue should be the primary focus of this topic. The ramifications of removing the bar is a natural concern. The consensus opinion is that it shouldn't result in a death spiral, right?

The spring rates are more than sufficient to run without a rear sway bar. Considering most of the (fast) track guys running those rates do it without a rear sway bar opens the possibility that not only is it a plausible configuration, it might even be optimal. We can rat-hole on why, but that wouldn't solve the critical problem would it?

.... one small detail that might or might not make a difference on a sub-subject here ..... Jenson Button gets PAID to drive "not his car" and Jenson Button doesn't even have to PAY when he wrecks it.

This thread is full of fail. (Mostly courtesy of Junky)

Steve can use the pic however he wants. The car is in my garage, so I don't really care who thinks otherwise. ;-)

Rhetorical question: how is having a picture of me driving a car that doesn't belong to me different from me having a pretty picture of a car that doesn't belong to me (say, a Ferrari F430) by itself? Lots of people have pictures of random hot cars in their signatures and don't catch any crap for it, so I'm still trying to figure out why I'm getting hassled, and if I agree with it.

The F430 is unattainable baller status, the Elise is attainable baller so people can be jealous over it.

It's like if you have a picture of a hot model on your wall it's understandable, but if you have a picture of the hot chick that lives down the hall it's awkward.

personally got no probs with any pictures (hell, I don't own Gina ) ..... just pointing out what I perceive to be a slight inconsistency in the Jenson Button analogy (since we were getting all incontextually accurate and shiz).
