haha......yea I wonder who the lucky SOB was that picked that s2k up. BTW, the floor manager, said to do so and open it up. I also thought it wouldn't be good for the s2k before the first 650 miles, but he insisted. He said he had a '01 and drove it hard from day one and 30 miles on it, saying that you need to drive in the beginning the way you're always going to drive it. Needless to say, key words being "he used to own a '01", until one fortunate day when he puched it around a gravel turn and threw the car into a tree totaling it. I'm still not sure if he was trying REALLY hard to sell me on the performance of the car, or just an idiot. I'm guessing a strong combination of both, with a hint of dumbass in the mix.

Get the S, the Elise that will be offered in the US has a bad case of the uglies. If you are truly hankerin' for that New Car Smile, just add boost to the one you have.

04's are better looking, and whats a 1000 rpm off the redline, when you are getting more tourqe. These guys are just watering at the mouth to get one. The 01 S2k is not a classic car, its mass produced. Get the 04, its a sweet car. Better yet get a subaru STI and blow their doors off, or a 350z, there is a classic!
