Thanks...

Not as much as you'd think. I don't know I've been doing this since 1976 (seriously since 1980) and haven't added it up.

The Brownies. All work. They are decoration around the house.
The Yashica GX
The Olympus XA and flash
Nikon F w/working meter. I still shoot with this one.
Nikon FM One of the best camera ever. I still shoot as well
Nikon FA
Minolta SRT 101. Great student camera nobody knows about
Minolta X-700 $0 gift. My first real camera.
Old Movie Cameras (yeah they work too but finding film.....AH). These are fun to play with.
Canon IV SB w1.8 (I love this camera)
Zeiss IKON Contaflex
Voigllander Vitomatic I
Zeiss IkoFlex

The Digital stuff is where the $$$'s at...

yes a small carbon fiber

I've probably bought and sold 20+ other cameras over the years. I like to collect old things and have a house full of "shit".

Now you want to talk money....it's firearms that are my real passion

We should talk... I used to be a national competitor. Been a REALLY long time since I have shot. When I moved back to NY from FL I sold everything with the exception to a Benelli Super 90 which I decided to keep.

Old pics when I had more hair and less fat... LOL

Wow, Norman, you look pretty sinister in that last photo. But glad to see you posting again.

Posting while I can... I'm procrastinating on wiping everything and rebuilding my rig.. Im afraid that Im going to lose my pictures even though I did manage to back them up before the crash.

Word to the wise.... Back up your photos NOW everyone... Trust me it sucks to lose them!

I think my shooting experience (high-power rifle competitions) have helped me to be steadier when shooting with long lenses and panning to motion-blur the cars. I hold them the same way and use my bone structure for support so in essence its the same thing right down to the trigger pull and breathing.

Back on track:

Equipment I currently use (not everything I own.. I'm too lazy to dig through boxes)

(2) Canon 1D Mark IIn bodies
(1) Canon 10D w/ vertical grip
Canon 70-200mm F/2.8 USM IS L
Canon EF 28-135mm F/3.5-5.6 USM IS
Canon 2x II Extender EF AF
Canon TC-80N3 Digital Timer/Remote Control
Lensbaby 2.0
(All other glass I rent)

Gitzo G-1588 Mountaineer Mk2 Tele Studex Carbon Fiber Monopod (No head)
Manfrotto 3001BD (Tripod)
Manfrotto 808RC4 (Head for tripod... I personally don't like the build quality though)
