I bought a 50mm f1.4 from hk via ebay. One of the big suppliers can't remember which one. I had to pay the duty on it and it was still

A collegaue of mine got a 400D over the weekend, showed me it today but before I switched it on told me to guess what was wrong with it.....dead pixels on the LCD - Correct

Canon's quality seems to be slipping

I would go for the D80 over the 400D. Have a play with both!
