I have a spare lowepro computrekker aw if anyone wants it.

I brought it to japan once and it worked out pretty well for me.

I've moved up to the bigger "plus" model for more space.

I just got a ThinkTankPhoto StreetWalker HardDrive. I'm really liking this bag. It holds a lot of gear and I'm sure you could use this bag as a carry-on. When I don't want to carry my laptop, this bag would be a bit larger than I need. I also have a Lowepro Flipside 300 I'd use for that. I've pretty much given up on the idea of a single perfect camera bag.

My ultimate goal would to have both a full kit bag, and then a small one that holds specific kit that I've chosen for a particular shoot.

I currently have a Slingshot 100AW, which holds my body, flash, 3 lenses, and all my cables, chargers, rocket blower etc...

But now that I have a 70-200 f2.8, I need something much bigger, and it would be nice to be able to carry my macbook in the same bag.

I think I need to find two bags.. with my D80, that's what I did..I had my Burton AK bag for travelling and storing the camera and whatnot when I wasn't taking it anywhere...I just need to make sure it will fit on a plane

Sometimes for just carrying the camera and one or two lenses, I can probably look at getting something much smaller for that use.

does this qualify as carry-on? (will it fit under the seat in front of me?)

I have the Naneu Pro military bag.
Great construction and lots of random storage areas for cf cards, extra batteries, etc.

The main padded compartment is well protected and can swallow up the camera body with battery grip still on. Due to the shape, you may have to take off your lens though.

It comes in different sizes I believe, I have the medium sized one.

My only complaint is that it's not very comfortable to wear, and it's bulky shape makes it difficult to shoot with. It's great as a travel bag for transporting a light load of equipment, but not a good bag to take out with you on shoots.
