i met this girl in vegas a few yrs back. didnt have a pen, phone was out of battery, and i was being too lazy to go hunt a pen down so we decided to take a video of her saying her number on my point and shoot. It was a great idea at the time but my memory card decided to crap out on me that trip. i couldnt read the data when i got home. It wasnt recoverable either.

moral of the story: dont use cheap memory cards.

 

i forgot what time it was and almost missed the shuttle launch. had my cam in time to catch at least the stream, but missed it taking off

 

Oh no! That stinks guys... both good stories but mmagic, that's really a bummer...
