Default 2006 Honda Civic

WOW. Is all I have to say. I want one.

2006 Honda Civic General Summary:

Civic Si photos:

Honda really has a winner here. I'm still disappointed with the power figures, though. 140 HP will be behind the game in a year or two again.

Like the outside styling, especially the SiR, but i dunno about the digital speedo up above with the analog tach and digital temp and fuel down below. Looks a little odd to me. Overall nice vehicle, though. Nice to see some real power in the SiR finally and a 6 spd!!

I like the 2 door coupe. The 4 door just looks "odd".
The bulk of Accord and Civic buyers aren't buying for HP anyway.

Honda is back and the Si model will challenge some way more expensive cars. The RX8 might be in trouble with 200hp from the TypeS engine and light weight near 2600lbs.

It is good to see Honda come back to dominate the compact segment.

I'm digging the new Civic in all aspects; styling, features and performance specifications. I can't help but notice a striking resemblance between the new coupe and Saturn's Ion 3 dr coupe. Anyone else??

I totally see that. I hate the Ion. Damn, just when I can afford a new car the one I want is uglyfied.

Oh well, I will just have to save a little longerr for the S2K.

The Si looks like a great winter car for those S2000 owners who park their cars over the winter. I'm also very impressed with the standard safety features built into every Civic. Hopefully the redesigned Fit will also be as stunning as the Civic pkg. With a little luck 2006 should add up to a very successful year for Honda and one New Car Manager.
