Any cutting or anything needed? Thinking of tackling it this weekend...

Easier to install with bumper off?

Def. take the bumper off. You get a way better view of whats going on. I'd offer more advice but I didn't install my AEM on the S2000. But install is pretty similar on most cars. I took the bumper off on the RSX and it made it much easier to see what you were doing.

I'm willing to bet the S2000 CAI install is 10 times easier than the RSX. That car was a bit of a nightmare.

When it's time to clean the air filter, you have to take the bumper off again??

From what xviper has told me, if you jack up the front passanger corner, you can just remove the splash guard underneath and get at it from there.

You don't really have to remove the bumper to do this intake unless you want a better view. Remove the car's right rad fan (the left one too if you're having a problem). To gain access to the filter area, only remove the bolts on that side that will allow you to "gently" bend the bottom plastic down and back. You'll need the front of the car jacked up. Gaining access to the filter for cleaning is accomplished the same way. It will also help greatly to have the right front wheel removed.
Don't get your vacuum lines mixed up or Hello CEL.

Here are the instructions for the install. No need to remove anything "extra" unless you really want to. I didn't remove anything extra and everything was fine.

If I was going to be in town this weekend, I'd offer to help... I'm going to be in Grande Prarie. Lucky me. Family obligations. Lemme know if you want an extra pair of hands though (taking the bumper off is easier with 2 people)
