I'm 6'4" tall, and fit well into my AP2 S2k seats, but I'd like to lower them a bit.

I've read about the BYS seat rails which lower the bottom cushion by 2cm. Only catch is the price.

Backyard Special lists the rails around 20,000Y ( approx $235 CDN)

Does anyone know a cheaper way to bring them in?

Nope.. not much of that on this car..

 

If you look in the DIY forums, there are mods to be done to lower the seat. It involves a bit of hacking away at the stock rails.

Have you tried any of the other vendors that are present on S2ki? I've always had good luck and service with Go Tuning. They don't charge you 'admin fees' either for using your credit card (which is supposed to be a no-no for vendors).

I haven't bought from them, but Evasive carries a lot of S2000 specific items too.
