CALGARY OWNERS: Need a rock chip or paint scratch fixed?
(Sorry, Calgary only.)
When I had my new front spoiler painted, I spoke with the painter who did the job. I asked him if he did jobs on the side. He said yes. He will make arrangements to come to your location and fix your paint chips for cash. He uses the airbrush technique, wet sanding and polishing. This is the same technique that Rick Hesel recounted to us some time ago. IMO, airbrushing is the way to go if you want an "anal retentive" job on small paint flaws.
Although each job is assessed by its own merit, for example, he'll fix 2 rock chips for about 50 bucks. He did a great job on my spoiler. The color match was perfect for Silverstone.
If anyone ever needs this kind of work done, please PM me and I will send you his name and phone number and you can get him to give you an estimate.
