Default Can i still get the TSB recall?

Well, as my luck may have it my AP1's transmission is getting notchy and sometimes hard to enagage(under acceleration), and sometimes it grinds upon placing into gear. I think one one occasion aswell it popped out of second upon deceleration.

Would i still be eligible for the recall? I have MY00, with 55k kms on it.

I don't think there was ever a "recall" on the tranny. There may have been a TSB, though, but usually these things are done if the car is still under warranty. No harm in asking.
Also, you may have more than just a tranny issue. You may have a clutch issue. Get the fluid changed and see how it works after that. This is a cheap procedure and may resolve some, if not all, of your problems. Get it done and go from there.

try changing your tranny fluid first to see if that does anything. If not, then try the clutch fluid. If there is still a problem then take it in for warranty if you have any left. Powertrain is 5 years or 100 000kms.

TSB's can be considered under "goodwill" if your car is out of warranty.

The notchy / grindy deal with the S2000 seems to stem mostly from the driver. (I'm not saying there are no cars with defects, but it's pretty rare).

When you come to a stop, go into 2nd gear and then into 1st (not directly into 1st). This will take care of the notchy/grind problem 99% of the time.
