Default Chip Guard Damage (repair?)

I just got the 3M plastic chip guard (bra?) stuff installed on my friends '02 and then promptly pulled about an inch too far into a parking spot and scratched it.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Kinda want to throw up.

Can this stuff be repaired or does it just have to be completely redone.

Scratches are on the front-end (no OEM lip spoiler), right at the bottom.

Any ideas?

I'd like to know, too. I had a run-in with a cement block on the road

This depends upon how deep the scratch is. You can try some plastic polish and a power buffer, then finish with a couple goes of Plexus by hand. Failing this, the piece has to be replaced. If the damage made the film shift and put a gouge in it, you're hooped. That's what it was designed to do - take the hit instead of the paint.
Good Luck!

yup.. hopefully it did its job and protected the paint..
