SUCKE ............ Oops, I mean CONGRATS, man!
Unless your guests are well off, they might balk at having to pay to attend your wedding at a resort like Sandals. In any case, you might luck out with regards to the hurricane season. November is quite nice on Vancouver Island - fall is beautiful there and it's not so far away. There's always Hawaii.

I was married in Hawaii....overlooking the ocean and behind the first tee of the golf course. Not only was it nice to get away but the people that really wanted to be there found a way to make the trip and the ones who were looking for a free meal and booze didn't.

BTW, congrats!

I am getting married October 24th of this year in Maui (Kihei). We are going to wed on Maluaka beach. There is 16 of us going, should be fun.

Congrats.

I can't afford a girlfriend, let alone a wife.

Hey Jason,

Just last month, I attended my best friend's wedding in Maui. About 17 of us made the trip. They had the ceremony in Kapaula Bay on the northwest corner of the island during the sunset. It was amazing. That and I've never been on a vacation before with 17 of my closest friends and family. That was a party and a half. I'd do something like that for my wedding in a heartbeat. Plus, like Doodlebug said, if you want to make sure those who are going to be there really want to, doing it in the middle of the Pacific is a good start. It was one or many driving factors for their wedding in Maui. Congratulations!

Chris.
