Koala did a very good job in describing some of the essential reminders! Although...you actually shouldn't be going up on any of the painted curbs except for the one in the chicane. You should come very close to touching the curb but not really climbing it. (at least in my experience)

For the Type R's an amazing lap time is 1:30.000 (done many times by George. I think Lawrence got a hair below 1:30 once or twice in his Type R which was great to watch. I'd be interested to see what times George has set in his S2k. Unfortunately, in order to compete in Solo 1 you have to have a roll bar installed on any convertible.

Sept. 21 works for me. There is some V8Less event going down at Bud Park that weekend in E-Town, but I am up for whatever since I haven't been able to make 1 meet yet this year.

Yeah I should mention you can tell where to go up on the curb, the chicane is the only section, you can tell because there are tire marks all over it

Can't make it on the weekend of the 21st.

Have fun on the track and keep it safe. Remember it is NOT a race...just a place to legally speed.

I'll leave it up to someone else. Everyone can decide when is best for them, and if I can make it i'll try.

Has anyone even gotten a general concensus on whether it be a meet/drive somewhere or a track day?
I think OnTheGo is on vacation right now and we may not hear from him in time about driving towards Jasper. I have another commitment that evening, so I'm not inclined to go to Jasper. I'm also not inclined to do a track day.

However, if there is enough interest, I'd be interested in doing the K-Country thing, but this time, only to go out for lunch and back and NOT continue over the Highwood Pass into Longview.

OR if people don't mind paying one day's park fee, we could do the Mt. Norquay switchbacks and then into Banff townsite for lunch somewhere.

OR, just for Seks, I'd be willing to drive up to Red Deer for lunch, then do a circuit to Silvan Lake and then split off and go home.
