[QUOTE=HondaGal,Sep 19 2007, 12:38 PM] If the S2000 is 55K now adays, I seriously consider all options of cars out there.

Yep go price one out on honda.ca. It's over $55k OTD, even in Alberta where there's no PST, and ya know, that's why these cars don't sell well. There's much more out there for much less.
This is good enough reason why Canadians who want to own a Honda S2000
go south of the border and do their business transaction there especially now
that the CAD is doing quite well against the greenback.
This is bad for the Canadian economy.

I echo HondaGal when she said "I wouldn't consider it high end".
It's just the price of cars in Canada in general is more expensive compared
to the ones in US.

After driving my brother's W211 E55 AMG in Edmonton I sold my S2000
then bought an '07 E55 myself. And for the price I paid down here (California)
he swore the difference in prices is enough for him to buy another brand new
Subaru for example.

(MY APOLOGIES FOR GOING OFF-TOPIC ONCE AGAIN)

You're absolutely right about the price difference. The higher-end the car, the more sense it makes to cross the border. I think a couple of companies (Porsche for example) even let you get US car warranty work done up here.

BTW The Toronto no-wave thing is rare, most S people there are pretty friendly. I think you just have to be in an S yourself to be in the club
