sometimes winning the cup is a curse, everyone wants more money, and players sometimes retire after they win the cup{andreychuck} even the runnerup team will suffer some, I am an oilers fan 100% , but when we lose and calgary is in, its calgary all the way, thats not saying calgary is second best, but i think we are all home team fans, I hope we have a season next year and that edmonton can pull up there sox and use the example calgary put forward , small market , small payroll, big hearts, and team effort,

 

I think Calgary has "copied" the Olers model....I'm not an Edmonton fan but I have alot of respect for how much they have done over the last few years given their payroll...they have as much speed and heart as the Flames...they just came up a bit short this year (remember the run they had at the end of the season).
