1. Put shifter in 4th gear
2. The piece that surrounds the door has to come out -- carefully pry out the top with a flathead screwdriver covered with tape or a cloth to prevent scratching
3. Pull the surround piece out, the door is attached to it
4. Use something long and skinny to push out the pins holding the door in (save them)
5. Reverse steps with new door

MY06 door made my '02 interior look much more updated I think the radio door is one of the most dated looking interior pieces.

Look at the hinge where they attach. Basically there's a pin that's sort of tube shaped that goes through both the door and the hinge -- you need to slide the whole thing out. There's probably a better way to do it, but I took a shish kabob stick (which happened to be the right size) and just shoved it through the hole, moving the pins. One came out easy, one was REALLY stuck and difficult to get out.

The best thing I found to use are those tiny little screwdrivers that are used to fix reading glasses etc. Make sure to take around the screwdriver so as not to scratch any of the plastic.

Then, all you need to do is use a hammer (or other hard object) to LIGHTLY tap on the other end of the screwdriver. This will cause the little pin to come out slightly on the other end.

Then used a set of pliers to pull the pin out the other end.

This took me less than a minute to do (each side) after having tried over a hour with a coat hanger, pin,...you name it!
