Default I have 2 issues.. xviper and the tech gurus..

First:

Car shudders upon crawling to stop at a light. I was told to whack the MAP sensor. I did that.. Did not fix it. My foot is on the clutch, sometimes in I shift into neutral, sometimes I stay in the gear I am in. No difference.

Second:

I have a friggen Squeak. To mean it sounds like it is on the driver's side under the dash or hood or something. The squeak is noticeable at very low speed, going over a bump or uneven pavement. I can't describe a squeak very well. the squeak, will happen with foot on clutch as well as off.

So any ideas.

Shel, does it sound like this:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&postid=2026348

Have you started to use your A/C lately? This adds extra load on the engine at low rpm, which the ECU may have difficulty trying to compensate, but like my car, given a few episodes, it will learn and it won't do it anymore.
How's the slack in your throttle cable?
If it doesn't actually stall, don't fight it by giving it gas. Hopefully, it is just the typical ECU brain fart when the temp or humidity changes and it will learn after several "near stall" cycles. This is quite common.
If it actually stalls, then you might need the dealer to look at it. It could be just the MAP sensor on its way south or the ECU has developed an uncurable disease (very remote).
Give it a bit of time and see if it "doctors" itself.

As for the squeak, I'm afraid it's the inevitable. Squeaks develop over time and are extremely hard to find and fix. Keep noting under what conditions it squeaks, pinpoint where if you can and see if putting pressure on the dash at different locations makes it stop. At least this will give you and the dealer a clue as to how to approach it.

I read that thread...

I may have the AC on low, 2 notches. But the temps lately have been 30plus. The car does not stall. And I don't give it any gas.. because I am coming to a stop even with the clutch engaged. I never thought of that!!! I must be the temp.. I suppose I could book it in to the dealership. I had it on the highway yesterday, and then today I noticed the shudder at every stop. But the temp was 34. Maybe I can't whack the map sensor hard enough? I don't know where the throttle cable is.

Remember I only have 8300KM.. so damn it, that pees me off and so does the squeek. I am just wondering if it is a fan belt... It doesn't squeek at idle though. Oh well... Just thought I would vent

Not likely the serpentine belt (although not impossible). Could be the belt tensioner. Does it squeak with engine speed or when you go over a bump or some other road irregularity.

Don't whack the MAP too hard. You might break it!
I have found in past cars that driving on the highway for a while, then going back to city driving (especially in the heat) will give the computer a bit of an aneurysm. It might take it a few cycles to recover.

Leave it in the garage and wax it... that's the only sure fire way of avoiding squeaks, rattles and shudders

This is typical of body flex induced squeaks. I'm afraid your car is no longer a virgin. I've had these since year one. You can have the dealer try to find it and fix it but you'd drive yourself nuts as this won't be the last.
