No need to be sorry. It's just one of those facts of automotive life. It was inevitable.

ps. A big part of why I bought an S2000 was because "It's just a Honda". If GM made it, I wouldn't have bought it. Just too many bad experiences with Vettes.

well they're almost parallel to civics nowadays.. (makes me sad) how ? well more and more '00's are becoming affordable which means, more and more YOUNGER owners.. < sigh>
I make more than most 40 year olds, so

The S2000 isn't the only $50k car that has dropped to mid-twenties. It's basically what happens when a car hits 5 years old. There are a plethora of IS 300's in that price range, too.

But most 16 year olds don't want a luxury car, they want a civic or the king of civics, the S2000

Hopefully, we don't have any "punks", young or old in our local group. I don't like to see old punks in them either.

I'm not sure that I understand. Maybe I have a odd perspective but if it puts a grin on my face almost everytime I drive it then it is a great car....who else that owns the same type of car has no bearing on my opinion of it. BTW, I have met some pretty decent young people through the Calagry chapter of S2ki.

There are always going to be spoiled rich kids driving any variety of car anyway. I don't think 16 year olds with S2000's are what you should be concerned about. 16 year olds with $300,000 ferrari's is what makes me sick.

I feel completely opposite from you... a 50-60 year old with a $300,000 ferrari makes me sick. What is an old man gonna do with ferrrari? least the 16 year old can ACTUALLY enjoy the car...LOL
