16 year old with a Ferrari - okay, bad example. I've only known of one kid under 18 owning one. I just wanted to use an extreme example.
Now, if a 16 year old is in the financial position to be able to afford an S2000 without help from mom and dad, all the power to him/her. I would hope that if they have that kind of financial flexibility at that age, that they also have some maturity to go along with it.

Yeah, but did he buy it himself ? My friend Ron To had a new 92' NSX while in high school (grade 12). Did he buy it himself ? Absolutely not. He was fortunate enough to have a very wealthy father. Northwest Acura delivered 3 04' NSX's this year. All of them were purchased by middle aged men.
