16 year old with a Ferrari - okay, bad example. I've only known of one kid under 18 owning one. I just wanted to use an extreme example.

Now, if a 16 year old is in the financial position to be able to afford an S2000 without help from mom and dad, all the power to him/her. I would hope that if they have that kind of financial flexibility at that age, that they also have some maturity to go along with it.

Yeah, but did he buy it himself ? My friend Ron To had a new 92' NSX while in high school (grade 12). Did he buy it himself ? Absolutely not. He was fortunate enough to have a very wealthy father. Northwest Acura delivered 3 04' NSX's this year. All of them were purchased by middle aged men.

There are probably many other 16 year olds in this country who drive exotic hardware courtesy of their mother/father.

OK, guys, because this news may have been PRIVATE and this may not have been desireable to be released, I am deleting all reference to the topic. If the young man in question comes forward to indicate he's OK with it, then you can repost your comments. Otherwise, keep this off the site, please.

What is with the sudden increase in NSX sales this year? It seems like the Alberta dealerships all went 4-6 years without selling any and then about 5 in one year.
