need help
Does anyone know how to take off the plastic radiator shield? I got the 4 screws at the top off but its still hanging on at the bottom somewhere?....are there screws down there that I cant see or what???
what are you taking off the plastic radiator shield for? If it is for the bug mesh, you just need to slide it through and not remove the whole thing. If not, I don't know but the other guys with the Helm's manual will.
no no, its not for the bug mesh...its for the Carbing radiator cooling plate? Its like xvipers heat shield over top the radiator? Anyways, I wanna remove the plastic one thats there right now because on the Carbing piece, it has a small duct that looks like it scoops cool air from the front of the front air dam? I just wanna get more airflow to it by removing the plastic shield that there right now

Nice, that should help in this heat. I need to get an air duct, even with the rad mat, the heat is having an effect on starts with A/C on.

Have you seen the "cold air" mod kit that "axilla" is having a GB on right now? It does require mods to the air box but it brings "cool air" in from where my AEM draws its air from. So you either go with a snorkel, which requires the airguide to be removed or cut OR you can go a cheaper route and mod the airbox.
