You guys referring to Contemporary Motorworks (T&T Honda?) - they're not THAT bad... I never could get any service when I was shopping for an S2K tho. But they gave me good deals on a bunch of parts for my Civic back a while ago.

You're thinking of Contemporary Motorsports. Contemporary Coachworks is an auto paint and body place.

Is it true that when you get youyr car painted, most places won't be able to match the color and it usualyl doesn't stick as well as factory paint hence making factory paint the best paint you'll ever have

Colour matching can be difficult if the shop isn't that good. However, generally getting something painted by a good body shop will absolutely own the quality of the factory paint. Too much orange peel in the factory paint on most cars (that rough, bumpy look to the paint, resembling the look of an orange peel).

Oh, good news.... jason (striker) and I met up, and figured out kind of where I'm at... now the house search can begin

Yup, now I just need to get around to getting that done. I hope it works.

I would check all the usual places - in and around the tool kit under the trunk cover, in and around the spare tire, coin holder, ash tray, cargo netting in the passenger area, secret compartment under the seats, inside the air filter box or zip tied to something in the engine bay. Failing these places, go to the dealer and get them to "order" you up a new one for free. They'll need to see the pattern.
