Top up, my friend. And make sure you have xviper's bug screen for the radiator.

Actually it was only for about 10 minutes, but OMG it was disgusting. Whap! whap! whap!

Take lots of Windex and a pantyhose. The pantyhose is NOT for you to wear. It's for wiping the bugs off after you use the Windex. It's supposed to be a lot friendlier on the paint than a paper towel or rag.

Believe it or not, the CRV was worse.

Anybody try the "spraying with Pam" trick? I hear it makes getting the bugs off after much easier.

They may be better if you are travelling at night (although better is a relative thing)...they seem to like sitting on the warm pavement during the heat of the day...I highly reccommend a bug screen...I still find the odd hopper leg or torso fall out of the engine bay after a wash.

I just drove out the #1 the 1st week of July (actually all the way to the coast)

Bugs/hoppers were no worse than normal, although normal is relative.

I've always put a screen in front of the rad on all my vehicles - must be a SK thing...

I find the first car wash I can after stopping and blow them off - it all comes off without even rubbing if you get them while they're fresh.

Oh, and top down! There's no way a bug or hopper should make it into the cabin with it down - but keep your arms inside!
