When i was working at partsource back in the day, we had many customers coming with problems and complaints. The problems were with miss firing or not firing at all, other were they had a problem with there car, shop pulled the plugs and the center electrode had fallen into the cylinder. Even here at speedtech the techs had encountered many peoples cars with problems and it's related to those plugs. I've even seen the electrodes at the bottom of cases they come in.
They are not good plugs, and i'd only recommend NGK's or DENSO's as a replacement.
Of course i've never used the plugs so i havnt seen it first hand on my car but the stuff i've seen, been told, and had to deal with is not good.

I would be changing out that oil, oil does break down just sitting in the pan.
Of course it's all up to you.
