It is a very small world in the car business. It seems like everyone knows everyone. The business manager over at High River knows Harry and Steve at 21st Century Auto, and those guys know Riaz over at North Hill Mazda (the dealer getting my brother his Mazda3)...
It hasn't taken these guys long to get a few buyers in place for my car.
High River is buying the car off me, then they're going to turn around and sell it to 21st Century Auto... this way I get GST credit on the trade-in amount and they can unload the car immediately.
Hopefully it all works out.
I also get a price on my house today (finally!)... very excited!

Last spring I was looking at a car that 21st Century had...then a couple of months later the same car was for sale at a place called ZR auto (or something like that) just off 17th ave SE for quite a bit less money....not sure how all these folks are related in this business.
21st Century auto and a lot of these other ones are all connected. A lot of the time what happens is they do a lease on a car, and the person that leased it doesn't make the payments, so they re-po. They had a '91 MR2 Turbo there that came back 4 times because of it.
The guy thats probably taking my car is going to lease it for $387 a month over 60 months and then have a buy-out of $15,000.
I'm not supposed to know this, but the guys there wanted to tell me whats going on with the deal.
