Default Voodoo shifter in Calgary? and AEM V2 question...

Anyone know where to get one, new or used?

Also, I ordered my V2 now I read all this about not being able to drive them in wet condidtions and having to cut part of the engine plastic off? Anyone around have one of these and can give any advice?

I just checked on the Voodoo and I can't find it but I've emailed the guy I think has it and he's not using it, so standby until I get a reply back from him.

I had an AEM and yes, you have to cut two pieces of plastic - one going out of the engine bay near the bottom right side just behind the rad and another one going into the right front bumper cavity from the wheel well. You will only have to worry about water if you leave it parked outside during a long steady rainfall or driving into water that is deeper than the air filter height (at least a foot deep). You can make an "umbrella" to take care of the first thing. Just don't drive through deep water to avoid the second thing.

You say you had a voodoo and had a V2, did you get rid of them both or get rid of the car? If you got rid of the voodoo and the AEM why?

Gotcha, so what are your opinions of both products?, did you have the V2?

The V2 is relatively new, I don't think anyone from Alberta has had one yet. I may order one in the next couple of months.

The AEM V1 never added any noticeable power. It sounded a hell of a lot meaner, though.

I love the Voodoo knob and the aluminum one worked just fine until I needed the vibration damping of the heavier Ti.
I had the AEM V1 and I quite liked it. Never had a problem with it and water. The filter got pretty dirty, though.

I just got a reply back from the fellow who had my old Voodoo. He no longer has it. But he has a Muz knob. He'll post here if he is interested in selling it.

I've been told that the Muz knob is also not for sale. He really likes it as a paper weight.
You're going to have to order one from Rick's directly. I don't know of any other S2000 in Calgary that has a Voodoo knob except for me and the guy that bought my old one from the owner I gave it to.

I had a Muz knob and I was not a fan. Still loving the stock knob the most.
