They're extra, and as woodson mentioned, they're a ripoff.

I wish I could just buy the "casing" for them and use my own speakers

 

i took my car to nissan today cause my friend was buying a 350z... while he was talking to the salesman... 3 other sales man came up to me and started talking to me about my car.... they loved it... they were amazed at how a 4 cyl can push out 240hp... and they loved the handeling... one guy asked me to take him for a spin... which i did... and he abolutly loved it... he wants to buy one now

they were saying how the s2000 is a way better car then the 350.... considering handling... comfort and everything else... it was weird... all the nissan salesman liked the s2000 better.... made me feel good

but one thing is i have to learn how to drive rwd better... my friend took it for a rip.. when he took his turns it felt so different... he wasnt bagging it or anything... he was just turning differently....i tried it after and it didnt work out as good...haha
i guess im so used to driving fwd cars

 

Funny man, I went into Nissan to look at the 350z last summer (the one at the auto circle) last year, the guy absolutely hated on my S2000. Wouldn't stop bad mouthing my car.

You have to realize that you can find salesmen who are simply "salesmen", nothing more, nothing less. They are there to sell the cars they sell. No other car can be as good as what they sell. Then, you have salesmen who are "car enthusiasts". These guys aren't afraid to speak what they really believe.

 

Oh it's not important. The important thing is that it was a good gauge of how I'd never shop at that dealership. My little brother is looking into buying a 350Z in the spring, and it certainly wont be from there

 

so far the winter tires are working awsome.... i went up and down my driveway with an incline... went up and down with no problems... couldnt even do that with my rsx... ive been driving slowly...i can get through all the icy patches on instersections so far

 

also just for interst anyone have anything they are selling used... just wanna see whats out the before i buy everything brand new

 

I might sell my xtant mono amp and my JL 12W0 in it's custom box (made to fit in the trunk perfectly, you just remove the tool kit). Depends if I can get the right dollar out of this stuff though, as it cost me a fair bit originally (about $900 for the setup)

im really looking for audio anymore... i used to spend thousands on stereo.... now i dont really care for it... im just going to get a cheap mp3 deck and some speakers for it to get rid of that crappy deck

but im looking more for subtle looks and performance.... like maybe a lip kit, ive gone with really aggressive kits lately... i dont want anything that will go out style in a year. also a supercharger, i doubt anyone will have that for sale.. cause i know a few of u have one but love it! if not i will probably be buying one in the spring
