I'm be in if anyone else is going to do brake pads and fluid

What I'll be using:

Redline MT-90 or GM Syncromesh synthetic for transmission.

Mobil 1 75W90 grear oil for the rear end

Ate Super Blue for the brakes.

GM syncromesh is available at any chevy dealer. Redline MTL is available at Fords Only in Boulder, as well as on-line.

In Denver, you can get Redline at 3R Automotive. It is near Santa Fe and Hampton.

On a side note, we were going to carry it at Detailers Paradise, but the wholesale price is damn near the retail price. Just not enough margin to make it worthwhile.

But, if you guys wanted to do a group buy or get together on a case, I could help you out. I just can't afford to hold onto inventory.

I'm happy to provide my garage and driveway for a brake / tranny / diff fluid day. I live in Louisville and that's where we did the last brake day. We can only work on one or two cars at a time though (one car in the garage, one in the driveway).

Paul: would you be willing to bring your tools / jack again?

Only problem is that I can't do this until Sunday the 16th after noon-ish at the earliest and possibly not before the 22nd.

Bash: the Panther Plus brakes are very noisy - as I'm sure everyone heard on last weekend's drive. I would follow Paul's recommendation and go with the Porterfield R4S on the assumption that they aren't quite as bad as the Panther + pads.

Thanks, Luc, ya, I've been reading about the noise and I think with my budget, I'll stick with stock pads for the time being. Here's the list of things I'd like to accomplish if we find some place to get together.

Brake fluid flush
Pad replacement
Differential fluid replacement
Transmission fluid replacement
Caliper paint (if time allows)
CAI install (if time allows)

Now all we need is a location and Paul's prediction on when the weather will cooperate.

Of course I'm happy to bring my jack and brake tools. I think painting calipers is likely a bigger project than can be accomplished, CAI installation maybe.

We should just set something out for a full day of mods. Maybe we can do clear a few corner lenses.

I'm thinking about getting rick's JDm diffuser, but I have my housing sealed so good I don't want to take it apart again.

OK, getting everything sent via online. Stock pads, ATE Blue (one liter), Redline MT90 (two quarts), Redline 75W90 (one quart), drain and fill washers for transmission and differential, and *tada* an ashtray. I agree, Paul, that after researching, the caliper makeover will take too much time. Not sure if I'm interested in clearing corners yet but perhaps I can do the CAI (or possibly an X-brace) while others are clearing.
