Can anyone recommend a good mechanic for my S in the denver area? Willing to drive an hour or so to find someone qualified..thanks in advance..

 

What kind of work are you looking to get?

 

Car just isn't running exactly right. probably something small like a vacuum leak, just can't seem to find it. id just like someone qualified to give the car a lookover

Not a lot of people from the denver area post on this website. You'll have better responses on S2KCA in the Mile High forum. I can't recommend any shops, I work on my car most of the time.

 

Ditto. Most of us do our own work. Only shop I've had experience with is TC Performance which I believe is in Arvada. Might check there.

 

Just got on this site. I've been taking my AP2 to Rick Greenley who owns Independent Auto Care in Parker. They are exclusive Honda/Acura. He's done good work for me for 3 years. (303) 840-4400.

 

Thanks for the responses guys..I ended up having a CEL pop up the other day which read as misfire on all cylinders...I took car to TC Performance and found out that cylinder 2 has severe scoring and I'm basically in for a full rebuild or swap. Tobi and Steve at TC Performance are stand up guys that do great work. Although a little pricier than I'd like, I'd suggest them any day for a top notch repair or build...If anyone local would like to buy the car as is feel free to PM me
