Tell All
I'm considering a s2000 later this year or early next year.
I'm considering other makes/models, but one important factor is what's happening with owners' clubs.
So what are CO s2000 people doing?
You guys have organized drives/runs? How often? How far do you go? What sorts of destinations?
Any kind of regular club meetings? Where? When?
Regional meets?
Track Days? Where? How often? Safety rules? $$$$$
Tech advice? For instance, I'd consider installing a 4 / 5 -point harness on the driver's side but not sure all that might be needed / required.
Do you get into gang fights with the Porsche club guys?
Anyone use their cars for autox?
Thanx

we have a great event calendar that our Community Organizer, Kyle (spa01s2k) will post a week or so before the event.

yes the drives are organized. distance depends on where you live, terry (tlcs2k) lives in the springs so he is a warrior. our last drive was to Mount Evans, we pretty much go everywhere you can imagine.
Any kind of regular club meetings? Where? When?
monthly dave and busters, now we are trying to move meets to include Ft Collins and the Springs.
Regional meets? it's always encouraged to meet up regionally.
nothing wrong with getting together with those that are closer to you.

boyd(goku) does all the tracking, i just watch.

if one of us can't answer it i am sure we will find someone who will help you.
Do you get into gang fights with the Porsche club guys?
we pretty much have a rivalry with all BMW M3 owners, they hate us for some reason.
Anyone use their cars for autox?
Boyd(goku) does. he's awesome

There isn't a lot of people who post on this site anymore (in terms of the rocky mountain section). A lot of people have switched over to S2kca.com in the mile high chapter. Thats were you will find a calender on events planned, whatever it may be - Drives, AutoX, meetings, etc. We have quite a few active members, its trying to get everyone together in the same place and the same time thats the hard part.
I will continue to post as many events as possible on this site so we don't miss anyone.
