#6 is the plastic window. the old window will zip/unzip so just unzip the old one and zip the new one in.

You will have to get a whole new top with the glass rear window if you want one. They are sewed it, and the glass window is alot smaller than the huge plastic one. Is you current top in good condition? Maybe its time for an upgraded glass window top.

Or you could get a hardtop, that would fix everything.

I wish on the hardtop part lol. And its not bad, there are two small cracks on the corners which I an going to shoe goo soon. Other then that its fine. I might just get the new rear window after winter. No need now. Packiging tape ftw!

Lol, whatever works for you man! I know OEM soft tops are effing expensive, thats why I went ahead and bought a VIS mugen hardtop. Only $1275 shipped with hardware from the group buy GBPerformance is having right now in the vendor section.

yea, replacing just the plastic window might be best option....for the record, dont drop top in cold weather....it will split the plastic 6/10 times...

also, was the VIS mugen hardtop painted?

Nah the VIS top doesnt come painted, but its all gel coated ready to be painted. Hardly any prep work is required, so thats a plus. It cost an average of $300 to paint a hardtop for our cars, so painted it will be less than $1600. Thats less than what most vendors here want for a normal VIS top with hardware alone without paint.
