I installed it by myself as my first project on my original S. Taking off the top is the easy part. Installing is a bit more difficult but not hard at all... Look at the DIY... PM me your cell I'll help you out with tips that help me when I got stuck.

Local mechanic in vegas will install your new softtop for $4-500. He did mine and it is phenomenal. If you need an excuse to come to vegas, saving two grand sounds as good as any. PM me if you want his contact info.

To anyone in Long Beach, Ca area looking for soft top replacements, DO NOT go to Bills top shop in long beach/signal hill area.. The owner there quoted me $1050 to install a glass top replacement ON MY 01 s2k. I thought the price was too good to be true, which it was. When i returned the following day to pick my car up, there was a huge gash on my front bumper. When i brought that up to the owner, she immediately got highly defensive about the issue, so to me it says she knows her or her worker had done the gash. After that she tries to lead my attention away from the gash onto the new top they recently replaced. She jumps in the driver side and they don't use the hand brake when they park manual cars (they just leave it in gear) so when she takes my car out of gear,it rolls back and almost hits a big semi truck bumper (luckily i was in the passenger seat and pulled my hand brake fast enough to where i didn't get rear end damage. So i have her fix my front bumper to how it was when i brought her my car. Now i started to notice that my passenger side window seal on the top has a gap now. Bottom line, you get what you pay for i guess

Total Cost = $1,035 and the fit is nothing short of fantastic.

Damn... Black top would have been much nicer IMO. I know you were trying to match tan seats but the colour of the soft top does not fit the car at all....

I think it looks pretty good. Def think it would look better if you remove the black tape on the windshield frame.
